A Little More About The Owner…
Hi, I’m Jodie!
I’m the proud owner of Magic Mirror Makeovers. I try to live everyday as a fairytale, I am also a mum to a beautiful 5 year old daughter and the face behind all our enchanting characters. I oversee every costume detail making sure hair and makeup is character accurate to ensure that every celebration booked is as enchanting as can be.
With a background in wig making and makeup artistry, transforming young girls and women has always been my calling. Crafting dream hair for children and women suffering from medical hair loss has been rewarding and emotional, their reaction to their transformations would be best feeling as I would see their confidence boost infront of my eyes.
I offer free princess visits to childrens hospitals because from months old to my teens I was in and out of hospital myself, sometimes for months at a time and I remember these lovely people would come and visit every child on the ward for a distraction, like it was yesterday. They would do activities with those capable, sometimes they even brought a friendly dog to our beds and it made such a difference, it broke the week up just interacting with people other than doctors and tests. So please don’t hesitate to get in touch about these visits as I’d love to give back to the kindess I had in hospital making it slightly less scary.
